The general area of Steeles Avenue (the border between Toronto and York Region, to the north) and Kennedy Road holds some interesting “signage artifacts”. This small house is apparently what was common around the area when it was built. Being semi rulal at the time they were on large lots which are now convenient for equipment rental companies, construction yards and used car dealerships. It is also kind of a “Chinatown North”. English/Chinese bilingual signage is common around here. Just down the road is a large Chinese mall.
